Science Blurb

This piece was developed for PSU’s Center of Life and Extreme Environments website to inform current research happening at CLEE to target audiences. As interviews were designed and conducted, move structures were studied to create a science blurb format to communicate research information. This piece highlights my skills in audience awareness, research, working with SMEs, and domain knowledge. Technologies used were Otter.ai, Google Docs, and MS Word.

User Research Project Report

This project’s main goal was to ventriloquize our stakeholder’s need of a community portal to communicate PSU Community Based Learning and help the client move forward in portal selection or development for all users. This piece highlights my skills in client communication, content development, research, and domain knowledge. Technologies used were Otter.ai, Google Docs, and MS Word.

Faculty Persona & Scenario

This project was developed in conjunction with the User Research Project Report above. The persona and scenario will aid our client in understanding the stakeholder’s goals and needs in a community portal, as well as aid in future portal selection or development. This piece highlights my skills in collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Technologies used were templates and Google Docs.

Costco Grant for STEM Class Funding

This project was designed to obtain scholarship funds for under-served audiences to take part in Girls-Only LEGO Robotic classes offered through OMSI’s Summer Science Program. This project highlights my skills in research, written communication, and project planning and management. Technologies used were MS Word, and Google Docs.

iFixit Repair Guide

This was a collaborative project to create a clear and concise repair guide content for the Asus G750JW, a gaming laptop. This guide is accessible to all users on iFixit’s website. This project highlights my skills in project management, visual/written communication, editing, and audience awareness. Technologies used were iFixit templates, MS Word, and Google Docs.

FrameMaker 2019 Software Review

This piece is a software review written for FrameMaker 2019 Release. It allowed for creating documents within the software in order to produce an authentic review of the product. This project highlights my skills in Adobe FrameMaker, research, written communication, and editing. Technologies used were Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, and Google Docs.

Grant Writing Book Review

This piece is a book review of Grantwriting Beyond the Basics Book 2: Understanding Nonprofit Finances by Michael K. Wells. This book was utilized during the writing of a grant request for STEM funding. This project highlights my skills in written communication, editing, and domain knowledge. Technologies used were MS Word and Google Docs.
